It's A Party...for the Planet! Saturday, April 17, 2010 Here at the Zoo, we’re all about being good stewards of the environment. That’s why Earth Day is such a big deal around here. Celebrate Mother Earth and learn how to "go green" through educational displays and activities. In addition to recycling, we will have other conservation-themed areas throughout the Zoo including how to be a better neighbor to your backyard wildlife, saving the rainforest, and conserving the Great Lakes and their watersheds. Plus, join us for animal demonstrations and a variety of activities from local organizations! Thanks to Lucas County Solid Waste Management and Keep Toledo/Lucas County Beautiful for helping us to once again be able to collect your recyclable items. More details coming soon.
