Woodland owners and land managers are faced with a daunting task when it comes to invasive species and the land they manage. Invasive species come in all shapes and sizes and include insects, woodland plants and aquatic plants. Depending on where you are in the state there are a variety of species that are having very negative impacts on our native habitats. This workshop will cover the identification of those species that are giving landowners the most difficulty along with some control options - from mechanical removal to the more complex chemical options. Outside demonstrations will give attendees some up close experience with various control options.
